First Quail Egg

August 9, and we have our first official quail egg! These girls are 9 weeks old, thriving in their makeshift greenhouse-turned-quail-room. Arizona heat is no joke — that greenhouse would hit 140°F when it's 110+ outside. Water, shade, and an evaporative cooler are keeping them cool, steady, and healthy enough to start laying.
